** GIVEAWAY (rules and entry form): Blogmas 2019: My 1st GIVEAWAY
Walking around these past days during December made me think about other people and how little acts of kindness could really make the difference. Even if you don't think of directly helping other people, there's always something you can do to make things easier for other people too.

I'm also trying to make these holidays better for someone so I'm hosting my first giveaway on this blog. Small things like this can brighten someone's day so I hope you'll realize what you can do to put smile on someone's face. Or, at least, not annoy them.
Park in the one spot. There's a lot of people out there now and I can not tell you how annoying it is when I see one car taking up two parking spaces because the driver just doesn't care. Unless you have some huge Hummer or a truck, you can fit your car in the specified spot.
Help people get out of the parking spots. Going with the previous one, there's a big chance you're just waiting for this one person to leave so you could park your car in their spot. If you see them struggling with maneuvering, go out, tell them how far they can go. It's nice to help people, instead of making fun of them. They'll also leave sooner.
Do not be angry at the cashiers. It's not their fault there's a lot of people in the line before you and the prices are higher. Most of the times, people buying stuff are those who are holding the line. Even if you see a worker struggling and holding the line, trust me, they're feeling bad enough. They really don't need your hate too.
Buy one extra thing and donate it. How many times you had a shopping list and you bought few extra stuff, just because? Well now, in this holiday season, buy one extra item and donate it where ever. Buy one sweater, T-shirt, pasta, juice, toy, teddy bear,... Where ever you're buying your presents, I'm sure there's one cheaper thing so you won't go broke, but it could make someone's day.
Put on a smile and be calm. I can't tell you how many times I was annoyed cause I missed my bus, the shirt I was going to buy didn't came in my size or I couldn't find the bow for my presents. In all those times, I stopped myself, smiled and started a Christmas song in my head. It made it all better and I reminded myself it's not the end of the world. If you react like that, chances are people around you will get calmer too.
Give out information. If you know something, share it with the people. For example, you know that one store is wrapping presents for free and you see people waiting in line for wrapping presents for some cash. Tell them where they can go for free. If you know there's an empty parking spot two rows down, tell the first car driver you see. If you see someone getting expensive version of something you usually get for cheaper, share it with them. It may seem like you're getting into their business, but you're not. They'll be grateful.
Bring decor and cookies to work. There's nothing worse than working for holidays. If you have any extra decorations or cakes and cookies, bring them with you. You and your coworkers will have a better time and I can assure you the mood in the office will go up.
Fix the graves. I just went to the graveyard and, because it's really windy and raining for the past few days, I saw few flower arrangements and candles flipped or fallen down. I took those few seconds and put them back on. I know I'm sad when I come back and see it all destroyed so I can imagine that other feel that too. Seeing it all pretty on Christmas day too somehow makes me calmer.
Feel free to add to my list and let's make December easy on everyone!
We always pay it forward and try to brighten someones day!
