5 must-have lipsticks for fall season!

** On a personal note this week: I'm more than my social media.

Why is writing these intros to posts the hardest thing ever? Here I was, sitting in my room, looking around and noticed I haven't rearranged anything in quite a while so I decided to get my hands on the first thing next to me. And those were lipsticks. They're just standing here on my shelf and I noticed that I didn't like the order they were in, there were no categories.

I also realized that I gravitate towards some more than others. Especially with the season change. I usually do stuff without thinking about it being good for this blog. But this time I was smarter and took the opportunity of writing this post along with organizing my lipsticks. If you want to see the full collection, read My lipstick collection post.

Essentials: Make-up

With all bloggers, brands and youtubers bombarding us with all the make-up "you need to have" is's easy to get lost into it. You're constantly persuaded that you need just one more eyeliner, just one more highlight and there's no make-up without a mascara. So I sat down today and went through my make-up collection.
I don't need make-up at all (as I put full make-up on maybe (!) two times a month), but if I wanted to do some look, I found some essentials. A while ago (more like a year ago), I wrote two more 'essentials' posts and I showed you what I think are fashion essentials (really proud of that post) and nails essentials so check that out too.

Fashion & make-up & jewelry & skin care haul

Whenever I buy something new I plan on writing this post and I ask you on Twitter whether you'd like to see it and the answer is always "yes" and I've still never done it. So, I've finally done it! Over the past few two months I got some new stuff in all categories so I'm showing you all I got.
It will take me a while before I figure out how to get great pictures of clothes and I'm planning on doing a try-on post one day, but for now you'll get these. Also, my camera has a will on its own so there are different photos here, but you'll get it...

Empties | 2017

I said before I don't use many products and it's actually hard for me to use something to the end in short period of time. That's why I decided to write yearly empties. You can read my last's year post here Empties | 2016.
Unlike last year, I have photos to show you all products. Of course, I'll write really short reviews of everything if you're interested and I'll also link the post if I've already written a review. I divided all products into categories so it would be easier for you to navigate and find what you're most interested in. Prepare yourself for a long post.

New in: make-up | follow-up post

Few weeks back I posted my New in: make-up | summer-fall 2017 post showing you what I got myself during past few weeks (months?). I promised I would do the follow-up post which I've never actually done before.
Some products will not be featured here because I want to do full reviews on those so keep coming back to see when they'll be posted. I'll keep this short and sweet.

New in: make-up | summer-fall 2017

I was on a vacation for 6 weeks in total and I didn't buy anything in that time. I was also waiting for some new fall collections to come to our stores so I waited. Now that I found everything I wanted, I'm about $50 lighter and full of new stuff.
Also, why do I have separate photos? I bought stuff on one and thought I would make it a post. Then I saw some other stuff and bought that too. And I'm not as organized as you may think so I already put my stuff all over the place. Some stuff are also at my friend's place. Great. And I still didn't capture all items in these photos.

My lipstick collection

Some time last year, I realized that putting on just a lipstick can make you look more put together in the shortest possible time and without any special effort so I started buying them. I haven't even thought I would reach for them this often. Since I realized I have more lipsticks and lipglosses than a "normal" girl would have, I thought it's time to share the collection with you.
I keep all my lip products in these two acrylic stands and one glass which is actually a candle holder painted in my currently favorite color - copper. I also modified larger stand so it would have more storage space and I showed it to you in my DIY post about it.

New in: 40% discount

Unlike my other posts where I actually think about writing them and how they're gonna look, this one came as an idea 5 minutes ago and now I'm writing it. I went for a walk and then ended up in a store where I, as a member, had 40% off on some products and brands.

New in: Make-up (NYX & MakeUp Revolution & Essence)

In the past few months, I've bought quite a nice collection of make-up. Some of it I really needed, some just looked pretty, but now I have it all and I wanted to show you what I got. About two months ago NYX came to my country so that was a perfect start of this haul post.
I've been using some stuff, that's why there are fingerprints and there's no original packaging.

New in: make-up

I've bought quite a lot of make-up lately so I'd like to present to you all I got. This is not a haul because I believe a haul is when you buy everything at once (correct me if I'm wrong) and I've been collecting these for the past 2 months (if I'm not mistaken).

Review - L'Oreal and Maybelline lipsticks

I was in a search of a good dark red lipstick lately so, now that I've found it, I can write something about it. Also, as I am, while I was buying one lipstick, the other one caught my eye so I have two reviews to write.
I'll start with the one I've been looking for so long. This is perfect dark red lipstick called Laetitia's pure red from Collection exclusive by Laetitia by L'Oreal Paris. There are more red colors in the collection so check them out. It is really long-lasting dark red lipstick with just a bit of brown effect once put on the lips. It is enough creamy to be easily put on the lips but not that creamy that you will have the feeling of having a lip gloss. Stating that it has a great coverage, one layer is more than enough. I would recommend you to buy a lip liner in the same color as the mistakes are really visible with this one. Another thing that I love is this perfectly designed container in matte black with few gold details.  It looks really elegant. It has standard roll-out procedure.
This lipstick costed me around $15. I would say this is a perfect price for the product you're getting.
I would highly recommend this lipstick! But, if you want it please hurry cause I heard that this collection is soon gonna be canceled. I'm buying the same tomorrow cause I'm so satisfied with it and I want to have it as long as I can.
Moving on to my new love... This is No. 342 Mauve mania by Maybelline New York. The collection is ColorSensational. I chose this one for everyday use since it's only few shades darker than my lips but still in the same tone. It's basically darker (not really dark) pink shade. Once put on the lips it has slightly purple tone, but the pink one is still dominant. It is creamier than the above one which should mean (I learned it like that) that it will not be as durable as the L'Oreal's one but I just had it for 5 hours and it was the same as when I put it on. I would say that's what you're looking in a lipstick. The color I expected was light pink but the lights in the store confused me and now I have this. I still love it, this just means I'll have to buy another one. I think I'll find another lighter one also by Maybelline NY since the formula and the price are great.
This lipstick costs around $9. Now, that's a perfect price for quality make-up. Coverage is great but, as I'm used to put more layers if I have light lipsticks, I put 2 layers and the color was amazing. Also, this one does not require lip liner.
If you're into something simple, do go and get yourself a new lipstick!

P.S. I do not own the photos below. I found them on the Internet but I thought they could help you see what you're getting.

Make up review - lips

Since I discovered my new passion for lip make up, I bought few products lately, I'd like to share them with you. You would get a video with this but my camera and video editor are not friends yet. I'll do it the old fashioned way.
Before reading: I do apologize for bad quality pictures. I was so excited to show this to you that I couldn't wait for better lighting. I hope you'll get the real impression and that I will provide enough information for you to find what you are looking for.
M.A.C.'s red lipstick is the first on my list. I bought in M.A.C.'s store for about $20. The shade color is named  AA4 Ruby Woo and it's a thick retro matte red color. I would personally recommend this one to anyone who is willing to step out of the box and who dares to wear something this distinct. It is really long lasting (I had it almost all day, ate, drank, talked...), it can't be removed with water, you'll have to use some kind of makeup removal (I used baby oil), it does not leave marks on glasses... The price is a bit high if you're not a professional make up artist but I think you won't regret it. It should last for a long time since you only need to put one layer on each lip for the perfect effect.

Another lipstick that I bought just few days ago is this great nude lipstick with just a shred of red, I could say bronze, in it. It is 06 Barely there lipstick by Essence. Normally you wouldn't say that a lipstick for $3 would be of that good quality but it is also long lasting one. It said that in the Essence department in the local store, but I didn't put much hope into it. I bought it for everyday use because it really looks natural and it's not intrusive at all. It is only few shades darker than my lips. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised.

There's also one more dark lipstick that I frequently use. It's Maybelline's dark cherry. I can't say where it is from because it was my mom's present. I also don't know the price, but I guess you can compare it to any other Maybelline's lipstick and say it's around $9. I actually didn't see this model anywhere, but maybe only the appearance changed so look for the name of the color. It's 235 Blackcurrant Bliss color. Just be careful with this one because it likes to leave marks on your teeth. Make sure you clean the inner part of the lip if you have put the lipstick in a hurry.

Before I bought Essence's lipstick mentioned before, on daily basis I used Essence's lip gloss. As much as I'm informed about them, lip glosses aren't that long lasting. They just provide really great shine and they are mostly more natural looking than lipsticks. They are really great for every day and every occasion which is really important to me especially because I'm in class every day. This particular lip gloss costs $2 which is nothing an there's a really big bottle of it so you can really use is often and it won't disappear that quickly. And in case if it does, it's $2. What else you you need? Shade is named 07 Big night out.

P.S. There are no stars on lipstick and lip gloss. I put them there because my mother and me have the same ones. And i would recommend you looking at the right picture. It's the one without a flash light and I think it shows the color better than the left one.
