What's in my bag? | every day basis

** On a personal note this week: 3 things people hate and we need in life

Guys, I can't be buying more bags. I showed you my entire collection in the post My bag collection and since then I got rid of some, true, but I also got more. And I'm still planning on getting my self a Batman handbag so check it out and please tell me in the comments whether I should get it or not.

I also need to buy more big bags because I'm going smaller and smaller by each purchase. But that's OK cause I really like cute little/medium bags. Anyways, if you're nosy like me, you can check other posts like this under the label What's in my bag?. And now we move on...

What's in my bag? | final college edition

I don't know if you're familiar with the fact that I'm finishing college soon, but I am. I still have it until the September this year, but I have these few months only to write a final paper (or should a say - a freaking book). I have lots of feeling towards this, but that's a topic for another post.
So, now I present you my bag. My newest bag that I bought especially for college, but only for the last 3 months. I could have bought it sooner, but I was looking for a good one and now here I am. This is, hopefully, my final college edition bag. I already wrote some posts on this topic, so you can check them out under the label What's in my bag.

Pack with me

As I mentioned in a previous post about summer vacation skincare and beauty essentials, I'm going on a three week vacation. Now, I'm traveling by bus on some relations so I need to pack bus friendly - meaning one suitcase and maybe one backpack.
I also made a free packing list for all seasons. I really hope you won't forget anything while packing. And now I'll show you just few tricks how to pack more efficiently with less things and more space.

What's in my bag | summer 2017

I change my bags a lot. Whenever I go somewhere I pair my bag with the rest of the outfit. You can see all of my bags in the post My bag collection. However I always keep my essentials in one bag ready to go just in case I really need to storm out. Currently, all my stuff are in a black backpack that usually goes great with all of my casual everyday outfits.
I usually carry only stuff I really need so you won't find old receipts, expired stuff or anything like that. I can proudly say I keep my bag really neat.

My bag collection

I don't think I ever posted any of my clothes or accessories here, so this is a first. If you ask my mom, the biggest collection of bags ever is in my room. If you ask me, I think I need some brown, beige and silver ones as well.
Note: These are all 'fake' and the highest price is about $30. Also, I didn't include my mom's bags (we share them all) - she has 6 more. I also didn't include my fancy clutches, backpack, laptop bag and 4 more which I hold on to cause I'm sentimental.
12 here + 6 mom's = 18 bags

10 things I always have with me

There are some things I always have in my bag no matter the size of the bag. Some are really just essentials for me to live but others are now more of a habit. I'm glad though, because these stuff can always come in handy.
  • mobile phone with headphones
I don't think I need to explain this one. Music is so important to me so I like listening to a radio (yes, radio as I love to be surprised if I hear some of my favorite songs) where ever I go and I don't want all people to listen what I'm listening. It also comes in handy when I have full hands and somebody's calling me, although I prefer talking with a phone next to my ear.
  • keys
Although I live with my parents, I'm often home alone. I either have to lock my house when I'm leaving or unlock when I'm coming home. I've had this next to me for the last 15 years.
  • wallet
Of course. I need to have my money with me. Also credit card (cause I never know if I'm going to run out of money), driver's licence, public transport card,... I have too many stuff in there and I don't use most of it, but I feel so secure when I have it all next to me.
  • tissues (+ wet tissues)
Dry tissues are an absolute must! I sometimes, if I have a larger bag, throw in wet tissues too. These are perfect for public toilets where there is no paper (ever!), if you spill something, if you're sick,... And it's a curse: if I go out without tissues, I'll definitelly need some...
  • lip balm - post here
I don't know how this became a must have, but I don't remember the last time I went out without it. I like to put it on in both winter and summer, no matter the time or the place. It gives my lips some hydration and care, along with shine and a bit of red pigment.
  • at least one hair band and few hair pins - post here
My hair is a problem especially if it's windy. I usually eat half of my hair, there's always hair in my eyes. To prevent this, I always carry a hair band and few bobby pins so I could style my hair pretty quick and easy.
  • a lighter
I am not a smoker, but it became a habit of mine to carry a lighter in my bag. It usually serves my friends who are smokers, but don't carry their lighters around. I think I used it only twice, but I still believe this will have its purpose sometimes!
  • pain killers and plasters
I always carry pain killers, but I usually use them only during my period. However, I've been a medic among my friends so I provide them with pills if they need them too. I always carry them because you never know when the pain will strike. Also, considering all my shoes make blisters on my feet, plasters are absolutely necessary in my bag.
  • USB flash drive
This became my essential when I started college because there's always something to print out or something a professor will give you. Since everything these days is computer related, USB is a really good thing to have. It's so small and so useful.
  • gums
I personally love chewing gums and I carry them primarily because of that. But they do come in handy after a lunch. My favorite are by Orbit, and that would be green and white ones.

These are my essentials. Which are yours? :)

What's in my beauty bag?

There are some things, regarding beauty and make-up, that I like to keep by my side in as many occasions as I can. Considering that I do not have a clutch purse with me, I'm carrying this sweet half-transparent pink beauty bag with me. I got it years ago and couldn't find the use for it anywhere. Thank God I had the need to carry some essentials with me.
First there is a small package of hand cream (or hand balm, if you like). Currently, I'm carrying around this Nivea Repair & Care (I wrote a post about it here). I wish it was a smaller package but I love this one so much I have to have it.
Next is a 3 in 1 comb, brush and a mirror. It doesn't look like much but this comes in handy very often. It's small and practical in any occasion. I used to have only a brush and a mirror, but adding a comb made my life so much easier.
This is the cutest package of nail files. As everybody knows I love nails, I got this as a present from my friend. There are six nail files. So small and so practical I just had to put it in my beauty bag.
Since I never know with my hair, I have to have some hair bands and few bobby-pins. I got this whole panel of bobby-pins in H&M last year (they are always available there). Regarding hair bands, I have two brown ones (as my hair is brown) and two small black ones just in case I want braids or something small with my hair.
There are, of course, these new oil control papers I bought recently. (Post on where and when I got it, and the price, is here. Review post is coming soon.)
The last two thing I have in there are two lip products. First is my lip balm (post about it here). I just have to have lip care all the time. The other one is lipstick by Essence called #65 Glow neon glow! Although they said it's lipstick, I would say it's only transparent lip-gloss. I would not necessarily recommend buying it (I got it as a present in the magazine), but I do like the gloss so I could easily turn plain lips into more elegant ones.
So, that's it. What do you keep in your beauty bag?
