OK, look, I know it's been two months since Christmas and I'm kinda late with this, but would you believe me if I told you I just now got the time to go through it? I honestly haven't touched any of these stuff since I opened them.

The other advent calendar I had was for a giveaway so I took care of it sooner, but this one I wasn't in a rush to deal with. If the recipients of the giveaway are reading this, I would love it if they send me a feedback or a photo or something.  Anyways, let's get into my advent calendar by, probably, my favorite brand out there.

New year, new me. Says me who decided to plan my finances and stop spending too much money and just bought a dress I don't need. But I definitely love it. So that makes it OK, right? However, I did manage to cut down my expenses and if you want to know more how to save money, let me know.

Also, I need to get it of my chest and say that this was totally inspired by a video by Patricia Bright (video linked here). Definitely go watch it because I loved it and I think you all need to hear it too. Haha. And now let's get into this, shall we?

New-in: make-up for fall

** On a personal note this week: I want a boob job

Here's me not following seasonal trends, but still writing a title "make-up for fall". Nice. OK, I'm not gonna lie, I do like a nice dark lipstick and dark nail polishes with sweater-weather, but it's definitely not mandatory. I'm currently sitting here and writing this with white glitter nails and bright yellow and pink make-up.

It's been a while since I did a new-in post, right? It's been a while for all posts since I haven't blogged in months. However, my love for make-up hasn't faded. I still bought some bits here and there and now you'll see new items in my collection. Did I need them? No. Do I love them? Yes.

Haaave you missed me? I've been in and out of here for quite some time so I fell out of this routine. Intros have always been the hard part for me, but thankfully I can fill this intro with this random rambling. But you're not here for that. Let's get into it.

Now that I'm working my first real job, I have more money than I ever had. This is still not much, but I am able to buy more. Surprisingly, I didn't spend it all as I thought I would. However, I still bought few long-time wanted items which are also related to this blog.

** On a personal note this week: 3 things people hate and we need in life

After saying I don't need more make-up, and certainly new eyeshadow palettes, here I am with a new review of one. To be fair, I bought this way before I decided to stop myself and before I "quit" buying make-up. Since I don't consider myself a beauty guru, I think I have a bit too much make-up on hand, but if you're interested in seeing it, I would like to try and film my collection. Tell me what you think about it. 

What can I say? I'm a sucker for make-up, colors and especially warm tones. I can wear both cold and warm, but I usually go towards warm... I don't know if I necessarily look good with both, but I like wearing them and I feel good both ways so that's what's important.

Oriflame lipsticks

As I mentioned in several of my posts, I'm in love with lipsticks. I think they are perfect quick addition to every outfit. I think I also mentioned I have way too many lipsticks for a normal girl. I showed you all of them in my post My lipstick collection.

Since then, I added few lipsticks in my collection and I can't see an end to this. Send help. Anyway, since the previously mentioned post, I did some other related to lip products, which I'll link below this post, but now I'll show you one unusual collection.

** On a personal note this week: NYE from hell to the best NYE

I'm thinking I have way to much make-up for a regular person. Then I also see that I mostly have eyeshadow palettes and I really don't need them all. I was planning on filming my declutter process so let me know if that's something you would like to see. Twitter friends said "yes".  

With this in mind, I bought myself this Makeup Revolution London (does anyone actually knows what this company is called now?) palette with 32 eyeshadows to use. When I was buying it, I was really into mattes with pops of shimmer and brown colors, something neutral and easy to apply. This seemed like a perfect choice.

** On a personal note this week: I'm more than my social media.

Why is writing these intros to posts the hardest thing ever? Here I was, sitting in my room, looking around and noticed I haven't rearranged anything in quite a while so I decided to get my hands on the first thing next to me. And those were lipsticks. They're just standing here on my shelf and I noticed that I didn't like the order they were in, there were no categories.

I also realized that I gravitate towards some more than others. Especially with the season change. I usually do stuff without thinking about it being good for this blog. But this time I was smarter and took the opportunity of writing this post along with organizing my lipsticks. If you want to see the full collection, read My lipstick collection post.

Animal testing brands

** On a personal note this week: Why not having Netflix is a good thing

This issue has been around for quite a while now. We all love animals and we also see horrible stuff that are happening to them for our beauty products. I know some big YouTubers and bloggers have put a stop to buying makeup that has been tested on animals. However, makeup industry is growing by the day and I'm actually not sure anything is changing regarding this issue.

It also sucks that some brands test on animals just because they sell their products in the countries that require those. I mean, if you're able to make a product without testing it on animals, why do they require such tests? The rest of the world is still alive and well even after using them... Anyhow...

New in | summer-fall 2018 (part 1)

I still feel like I've been MIA even though I've been active here for 3 weeks now. I still feel like I'm starting fresh. I also have tons of ideas for this blog, but not enough time do actually do them all. That's why today you're going to see what I recently got. When I say recently, I mean in the past few months of me not blogging.

I also went for small shopping trips so I didn't do a haul type of post. Another thing that has happened here is I got some stuff at the beginning of summer and some just yesterday. So, that's why there are different photos and set-ups. OK, let me just show you what I got myself...

A real no-makeup makeup routine | My daily "make-up"

I think I've said it a 100 times by now that I don't use make-up on daily basis. I think I have too much make-up for someone who puts it on maybe once a month. And I'm not even talking about "everyday make-up". I'm talking about not having make-up at all! I went through my teen years without make-up so I think I got really used to my bare face. I also had the worst days (puberty) without make-up so I'm not that self-conscious without it now.

I'm most proud of it now. However, I do like to glam up for special occasions which are sometimes just random outings with my friends. I'm basically doing it all - from bare face to using just few products to going full glam. And this can all happen within 2 days.

Makeup Revolution chocolate rose gold eyeshadow palette

It's been a month since I posted my make-up review (and I also review a Makeup Revolution product Retro Luxe Gloss lip kit). But you know those days when you just don't want to wear make-up so you have no idea what's going on in beauty world? Well, that's 90% of the time for me. And then one day I feel like going full glam for no reason. And then I look for my most beautiful make-up products and I feel like a queen.

It's safe to say I've transitioned from a simple black smokey eyes from 10 years ago to fun make-up, experimenting with it and, lately mostly using reds and a lot of warm tones on my eyes.This is something I never thought I would do. But here I am. And here's my newest palette.

Essentials: Make-up

With all bloggers, brands and youtubers bombarding us with all the make-up "you need to have" is's easy to get lost into it. You're constantly persuaded that you need just one more eyeliner, just one more highlight and there's no make-up without a mascara. So I sat down today and went through my make-up collection.

I don't need make-up at all (as I put full make-up on maybe (!) two times a month), but if I wanted to do some look, I found some essentials. A while ago (more like a year ago), I wrote two more 'essentials' posts and I showed you what I think are fashion essentials (really proud of that post) and nails essentials so check that out too.

How many times have you read "I'll keep it down with buying make-up" or "I have way too many lipsticks for a normal person" on my blog? But (!) I've also said many times that I can put on just lipstick without any other make-up product and feel like a queen. So I did it again. I bought another lip kit. 

As usual, I was browsing through local Internet store and I was searching for a lipstick that my mom wanted. As it's from MakeUp Revolution, I filtered it and I saw this kit on discount. Naturally, I don't pass out on good discounts, so here's a new review.

Fashion & make-up & jewelry & skin care haul

Whenever I buy something new I plan on writing this post and I ask you on Twitter whether you'd like to see it and the answer is always "yes" and I've still never done it. So, I've finally done it! Over the past few two months I got some new stuff in all categories so I'm showing you all I got.

It will take me a while before I figure out how to get great pictures of clothes and I'm planning on doing a try-on post one day, but for now you'll get these. Also, my camera has a will on its own so there are different photos here, but you'll get it...

Life on the dance floor lipstick review

Few posts ago, I said I won't buy any more lipsticks. Cause I already have too many and, let's be real, I don't wear make-up that often. However I also said that just wearing a good lipstick can make me look put together and ready to concur the day. So here I am.

Since I like neutral make-up for most days, I'm always looking for some nude shades, something that will just pick me up and won't make me look unnatural. Have I found 'the one'?

NYX Slip Tease & Soft matte review

Since NYX came to my country, I've bought quite a few products there. With some other eye products, I'm a huge fan of some of their lipstick products which you can read in one of my previous posts. Today, I have two more I'd like to talk about.

For the past year, I really became a lipstick girl and I truly believe that wearing only a good lipstick can make you look put together in all occasions. I've already wrote a review on 4 different NYX lipstick lines which you can read about in the post My NYX lipstick collection.

Blogmas 2017: Christmas/New Year make-up look

Blogmas 8: Driving Home for Christmas

Since recently I started wearing more make-up for special occasions. I usually go for neutral make-up possibly with bold darker lips. Although I did experiment a bit with colors on my eyes (which you can see in this post about Makeup Revolution Acid brights palette and which you'll see in one post next year), it's easier for me to do neutral eye make-up and then finish the look with basically any lipstick I want.

Today I created a make-up look that is perfect for a Christmas lunch with family, then you can build it up for night out or New Year's Eve.

Nabla eyeshadows

Some of my friends and blogging gals (aka Maria J.) know that I really wanted to try ColourPop eyeshadows. However, there were some problems with ordering so I searched for another option. I stumbled upon these Nabla eyeshadows and I immediately ordered 4 of them with their own palette.

Top left - Paprika, top right - Farenheit, bottom left - Ludwig, bottom right - Daphne No. 2

I chose all similar colors because I really wanted and needed some burgundy colors, reds and oranges. As you can see, I bought 2 mattes and 2 shimmer eyeshadows.
